Hi Derek,
The Royal Star conversions were made by Tiara in Indiana. I've managed to find out that as of August 15, 1997, Tiara Motorcoach Corporation was acquired by Mark III Industries, Inc. The address for Mark III industries is:

1135 Kent Street

Elkhart, IN 46514

United States

I hope this helps?

John

After all this time I've just noticed that my van isn't on there. Unless I've missed it under another name but mine was done by Evolution apparently

Hi Phil,
Well done, well spotted. it's good to know that my list is useful.

I've just had my 70th birthday, and I still miss the comfort of my 95 Starcraft. But as an 'old timer', money is tight these days, so it had to go. It's up in Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides and 'Gogsey' has it now and he and his family are still loving it.

I hope you and Sharon are both OK?

Take care of each other.

John

Hi John,
Yes we are both fine thanks. Hope you and your family are OK.
I retired earlier this year, one of the last to be able able to retire at 65 I think, Sharon will have to wait until she is a few years older due to the government changes.
We've just celebrated our 11th wedding anniversary. Sharon now has three grandsons care of her daughter, Becky, and I've just gained a fourth granddaughter care of my eldest son.
Life's pretty hectic at times.
Good health for the future.
Phil.

Cheers for that, missed that one. But tbh I wouldn't of thought of Starcraft as nothing is labelled with Starcraft on it.

Hi Glen,
Usually Starcraft models have the name Starcraft' ambroidered or embossed on the headrests, so I'm wondering that perhaps the seats have been changed at some point in the history of your van? Just a thought.

Cheers

John

I don't doubt that John tbh. I've seen the seats with the Starcraft logo on the head rests, but mine has none. Mine also came with cream leather seats in a dark blue van with grey carpet and a blue grey with flecks of green in the panels. Not a particularly good combination tbh But trying to get rid of the cream fronts for grey ones is a bit of a nightmare. But hey ho, we can only but hope

Hi all,

I have a 1997 Chevy Astrovan that was imported from Japan. The interior headrests, switch panels, body kit, back wheel cover and roof have DESIRE on. I am not sure if this is the conversion company as I cannot find any info about them. I have been told it might be a Boyd Coddington Signature series van as the wheels are Boyd Coddington. I just wondered if anyone had heard of this company or has any info ?

Many thanks

Michael
